The SPCA’s 24-hour hotline receives over 35,000 calls per year for animal rescue and prevention of cruelty to animals. Our inspectorate handles over 5,000 animals per year, with around 1,500 of these being rescues. In a concrete jungle like Hong Kong, cars, buildings, heavy equipment and debris are just a few of the perils faced by both wild and domestic animals everyday.
